NEW TERMINAL, KLAIPĖDA

The reconstruction of the New Ferry Terminal passenger station and surrounding public spaces in Klaipėda. This was a unique and complex challenge, where we had the opportunity to apply our expertise and innovative solutions.

The structure is impressive in size: 135 meters in length, 12 meters in width, and 16 meters in height, requiring more than 5,000 square meters of scaffolding. One of the biggest challenges was ensuring that the construction work did not disrupt the ferry terminal’s operations – the 43-meter-wide passage to the ferries had to remain fully open.

To overcome this, we designed and assembled a 26-meter-long FW scaffold bridge, which was successfully lifted and installed during the night using a crane, ensuring uninterrupted ferry terminal activity. This was a standout engineering solution, requiring precise planning and seamless teamwork from our side.
